The ASURE 2026-27 application will open on February 12. Eligible students should receive an email invitation to apply.
ASURE is open to all admitted incoming IU freshmen who intend to major in the College of Arts and Sciences and its three schools: Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture and Design; Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies; and The Media School. All eligible students should have received an email invitation to apply.
Note: Some ASURE research experiences may give preference to students with specific intended majors. So, review the eligibility criteria for research experiences carefully.
You will need to have the following in order to apply for ASURE:
- Your IU username and password.
- Your top three ASURE research experience preferences.
Note: Once you've set up your account, it may take up to 24 hours before you can log into the ASURE application.
There is no additional fee beyond regular tuition for participating in the ASURE program.
If you are accepted into the ASURE 2026-27 program, you will receive an email by the end of the day on April 2.
